The light touch switch is widely used, and the demand in the market is increasing gradually. Consumers are always choosing brands and pursuing quality when buying. They are afraid that the switch will be prone to problems in the future. It is not difficult to understand that this small component controls the on-off work of your household appliances and sometimes determines the service life of the appliances. In fact, for touch switch, poor contact is one of the most common problems for consumers. What are the causes of poor contact of touch switch? The lighttouch switch manufacturer Guangdong Xingkun Science and Technology tells you here what are the possible reasons for the bad contact of the lighttouch switch.
1. Metal surface oxidation and impurities, resulting in poor contact: metal exposed to air, are vulnerable to varying degrees of oxidation, some of which we can not see with the naked eye, the degree of oxidation is closely related to metal materials, environmental conditions, storage time, after oxidation, a layer of oxide will be distributed on the metal surface. Metal oxides are non-conductive, and these oxides further reduce the actual effective contact surface. When the two contact surfaces contact, they are actually dog-teeth alternating contact between rough surfaces, which reduces the contact area, resulting in poor contact. If the switch is disassembled, we find that there will be a small black spot on the shrapnel. This small black spot is the effect of the shrapnel being oxidized. It is better to put the electronic products which are not normally used in a dry place to prevent the electronic components from being oxidized.
2. The internal break of the light touch switch device results in bad contact: some light touch switch devices are broken, but the sections are still touched together, which is still conductive from the outside, but the length of this contact time is usually unreliable. If we enlarge the section, we will observe a lot of bumps and bumps, and re-examine them. When contacting, if there is a slight displacement, these bumps and concaves will not fit as they did when breaking, so the contact area will be greatly reduced. In such contacts, the pressure between the surfaces will be very small. This kind of contact on the surface is good, and when the external action reaches a certain degree, it will be completely broken one day.
3. The thermal expansion and contraction between lightly touched switch devices result in bad contact: the change of temperature in the external environment of the switch or the heating of the appliances themselves when they work causes the change of internal temperature of the appliances, which makes the thermal expansion and contraction between lightly touched switch devices occur, thus affecting the contact surface and making it force or deformation. This reason is easy to overlook. We often think that we have not operated the switch excessively. In fact, this external cause will quietly affect the contact surface, resulting in poor contact of the switch.
